This is an excellent school. Most of the teachers are terrific - they care and work hard to teach the kids. PTO has turned around in recent years and provides amazing things for the kids. Principals are wonderful!! Parents are involved and are very supportive.

"I like Windber. It’s safe and I feel like there’s a sense of community. I’m not from here so I don’t know everyone like a lot of people. Windber rec is a great place to go to an event or take a walk. There’s a nice playground there as well. "

"Small town with friendly people and a great school district Close to shopping and movie theatre, bowling and game rooms for kids. Sports enthusiasts live here. Restaurants and bars are close many offer delivery. Many small towns make up the area"
