"I’m actually searching for the right location. I have known about this area for many years and would recommend it to anyone. Seeing that I was raised and resided in the Southeast and surrounding Bay Area, I highly recommend this location. I also practiced Real Estate for 20+ years outside my primary employment, the area is highly sought after. I am looking to downsize to a location for myself seeing that both of my children have graduated from College and now happily married. I am also widowed and this location appeals to my style of living for many years to come. More information will be requested by me. Thank you "
  • Abbey.mcdonald
"LOVE this area! It’s dog friendly, lots of young professionals, close to med center, and some great colleges! Rice, St. Thomas & UH Downtown are all a short drive. Tons of nightlife & great restaurants!"

"We don’t do anything in this neighborhood. Everyone keeps to themselves and as of recent our vehicles have been getting broken into. The water valves don’t work for lawn care and they charge mandatory $100 maintenance and the grass/trees are still your responsibility. "
  • Jeccaml
"Access to restaurants and shops within walking distance. Very walkable and close supermarkets near by"

  • Kourtnie.escobar14
"This neighborhood has a bad reputation because of the surrounding areas that are well lit with crime, but this neighborhood is actually very quiet, wholesome, friendly, and active. People go on walks and even bring their kids to walk with them. There aren’t very many people in this area that you don’t see on a regular basis. The people that live here are known well and are genuinely nice people all around. "
  • Monique Edwards
"It’s a great place to raise your children. Shopping centers and schools are close by. Bus transportation is even close by. There’s different types of restaurants around the area."

"This area is mostly elderly people and with the apartments “la casita” is not safe anymore, too many gunshots at night and during daylight. We need more police patrols in the area. "
