Description

Standing tall on one of Marine Park's most sought-after blocks. This rarely listed, in demand true four-bedroom home with basement ensuite only requires a new family to enjoy it. This home was recently completely renovated with new plumbing, electric, and radiant heating throughout the entire home.

A vaulted entryway leads into an open concept that features a sizable living area with a large stone fireplace and lots of windows for natural light. The current dining area accommodates a 12-foot table with a stunning crystal chandelier and a half bathroom. White cabinets, a microwave drawer, a 36 inch farmhouse sink with garbage disposal, and quartzite countertops are all featured in the kitchen. Also featured is a “wet bar" or "kosher" area with an additional sink. The main bathroom features recessed shelves, a wall-hung toilet/vanity, and a herringbone-patterned carrera marble feature wall. The master bedroom includes a vaulted ceiling and custom closet. The second floor then has two center bedrooms, and a fourth bedroom with a large closet and ladder to climb up “play room.” The hallway includes two large closets and attic access with shelving for organized storage. The basement with a separate private side entrance leads to a fully finished 1 bedroom, family room, kitchen with island, & full bath with stand-up shower. There is a separate laundry room with stackable washer and dryer and a utility room where the Navien tankless hot water heater/boiler are located. The home's exterior features brand-new cement and paver designs, a driveway, and a sizable backyard with lots of space for entertaining.

"No trains, two fare zone. Train is in a 20 min walking distance. I have walked it and it’s not terrible. "

"The commute is not great. You have to take a bus to the subway. The bus is on a very dependable schedule and the subway comes like clockwork. Time right it could be 1:25 foot to door. I take a cab to the train in the am ($12 ride) and the bus home (it’s always sitting outside the train). Definitely manageable."
  • Georgi M.
"Wednesday night concerts in the park during the summer. free meals for the elderly in the community center in the park."

"I lived here with my grandchildren. The local schools are AMAZNG...better than any private school i have seen. Due to so many of the first responders who live in the neighborhood it is very safe and family oriented. Close to marine park and snake park. Ideal place"
  • Joe
"Was originally looking in Cobble Hill Carroll Gardens area and even though its considerably more expensive i didnt get that same family feeling that Marine Park offered. So i rolled the dice and bought . I spent 1/3 the price, have twice the amount of land, im close to the beach, the park is amazing, my kids play with the other kids on the block instead of video games in the living room, strangers walk past you and say hello... i could probably go on for ever. I dont mind the few extra stops to Manhattan when i see how my family is enjoying living here. Love it!!!"
