"My neighborhood is close to public transportation, the neighbors are great, the town is amazing with tons of community activities. The restaurant are locally owned with amazing food and the big corporate stores are clean with locals that live in the area that know you by name. I was suggest to everyone to move their family up here. Also, the rent is cheaper up here than it is in a big public city. it’s quiet.. One other thing is close to beaches, which is my favorite thing of all time."

"It’s pretty quiet honestly it is not a bad area like most people say it is I’ve been living here for at least five years have not had a problem "
  • Paul J.
"I was born here and moved a long time ago. I have the most wonderful memories of the area, tho and the amazingly nice folks that lived there. I miss it very much. "
  • Russ
"There are rabid dogs in the area that roam in pacts... be very careful because animal control doesn’t care about this area."
  • Chad B.
"It has character and room for growth. Older Holmes like ours which is 99 years old this year. Nice porch to sit on in the summer and read and drink tea. "
  • J A. R.
"The area held an undesirable title of decline in years past which is typical of an old Saginaw neighborhood. But today is a different story and an active resurgence of the area with restoration projects spouting everywhere is evident. It's easy to see active local and state efforts are alos being invested to revitalize and add renewed relevancy to our Historic Saginaw. 2 new large urban breweries as well as multiple restaurant/bar venues are currently in process in the nearby area. A new luxury condominium complex is scheduled to break ground on the riverside by Court Street. Various attorney offices have also sprouted in the immediate area. This is a really cool urban set up and the proximity to everything is a convenience unrivaled to anyplace I lived before."
