About this House

For Rent: Highland Terrace, $ 2250 a month and $ 2500 deposit, 3 bed, 2 bath upper half of house. Available March 1, 2018. Good references a plus. Washer/Dryer, off street parking for 2 cars, electric gate opener for driveway and HD security system. I did some upgrades to the place like mostly LED lighting and freshened up the bedrooms also a kitchen island and reverse osmosis water filter system. Close to freeways and schools. You must abide by the rules and regulations. The rules and regulations are common sense and one concerns dignity and respect is that too difficult to follow? I hope not? The Landlord/Maintenance lives downstairs and is a registered guard. I believe in harmonious living conditions and old school respect. The viewing for the apartment is by appointment only! If you do not have an appointment please do not open the gate and walk on the property, if you do, you will not be taken into consideration for the apartment. Please understand this because you are being recorded with a HD security system. The reason is simple if you cannot follow the instructions from the ad what makes you think that I will believe you will follow the lease agreement?? The lease is six months but after the six months it can be negotiated? And as a matter of fact for the right people we can negotiate? I will allow pets depending what kind and how you take care of them? With that said there will be an added pet deposit of $300. Please call and if there is no answer leave a message please, and I will get back to you as soon as I can or email. No disrespect on slight delay, I just work nights. Serious inquiries only! If you are serious lets meet and talk? For questions or to schedule an appointment to view the apartment, Please Call after 10:00AM and before 9:00 PM. Thank You for your interest.

I like to start with 6 months but to the right person I will do 1 year. Please Read!

"It’s safe to walk around and there are some parks that you can throw the call for your dog. I wish there were more public trash cans or poop bags to maybe encourage owners to pick up after their dogs. "
  • Dallaswise
"I’ve lived in this neighborhood for 2.5 year, it’s a working class Oakland neighborhood.I feel super safe, love walking my dog everyday, and running into my neighbors... I know quite a few, they are all good, friendly, solid people — from ALL walks of like. This mix is one of my favorite Oakland attributes "
  • Timothy F.
"My neighborhood has access to many different buses or bus lines. Also, Uber carpools and other commute lines as well. But I prefer to drive my own vehicle to work. Another good thing about the commute in this neighborhood is that there are multiples freeway entrances going towards both ways so finding an entrance to a freeway isn’t a hassle. "
  • Jazmine T.
"Uber or public transportation such as the bus or Bart. there are a few bus lines just a few blocks away."
