"I work from home. Previously I worked in Wausau and the commute was 20 minutes with medium traffic. There is not a system of mass transportation. Although there is a ride share parking lot I do not know of anyone that uses it for commuting."
  • Rick Jass
"I love Mosinee. There are walking trails, great parks and playgrounds and people are kind. It is a large enough town to have sport teams and activities, but it is a small enough town to get to know people. "
  • Jesse R.
"The Independence Day fireworks bring people from all around Central Wisconsin. There are various community events at least monthly. Polish Fest is always enjoyable."
  • lgarr99
"Wonderful recreation area with sandy beaches and great fishing and boating. Nice restaurants all around the lake including the Tiki Bar. At least two campgrounds on the lake with lots of woods and hiking paths. Half way between Stevens Point and Wausau for great shopping. "
  • Steve P.
"Very nice, small quiet neighborhood near the Big Eau Pleine Flowage. Very safe area with a mix of young families and retired couples. Nice location - easy commute between Marshfield, Stevens Point, Wausau and Mosinee."
