Two markets, liquor store, hardware store, restaurants, cafe, bank, yoga, police, fire, wine tasting, flowers, auto mechanic etc. People are very friendly in Ridgefield and the schools are highly rated. The town is very family oriented, puts on a lot of family day type events and is locally famous for it's Fourth of July celebration. There is not much for teens to do aside from the small skate park, but hopefully that will change soon. You get a sense living here that there is pride in this community, and although occasionally someone will come along and try to disrupt the serenity, they don't stick around long. Now, if they would just change the high school mascot, it's be almost perfect."
