Description

Take a good look at this cozy three-bedroom split level home located in Cumru Township, Berks County, PA. According to public records, this mid-century home was built in 1949. The present owner provided a list of upgrades performed on the house since during his ownership. Visit my website at JeffreyHogueRealtor to see the list. According to the owner the upgrade costs exceeded $42,000 and included upgraded electrical components, finished sun room and attic area, exterior enhancements, and much more. Upon entering the home, you are greeted with all natural hardwood floors which are a product of the era the home was built in. Some of the floors have been covered over with Pergo wood, laminate, and carpeting while the family room / sunroom has tile floors. The living room is large enough to double as a dining room. The galley-styled kitchen has tile counter tops and backsplash, built-in dishwasher, newer electric range/oven, and painted white wood cabinetry. Through the kitchen is where you find the family room which has many attributes of a sun room. The walls and ceiling are covered in natural wood and, as previously mentioned, the floor is tile. Amenities in the room include a wood-burning fireplace surrounded by granite, casement windows, and a skylight. The second floor has two bedrooms, both with hardwood floors, and a full bath. The walk-up attic was recently finished adding a third bedroom to the home. The present owner has turned the basement area into a television room but the area is not finished in the same way as the upstairs areas. The basement is also where the laundry area, oil, forced air heating system, and other mechanicals are located. The home is also cooled with central air conditioning. The basement walks out to the garage area where you will find a workshop. The exterior grounds are nicely adorned with features like a paver patio, covered whirlpool tub, and outdoor fireplace. The yard also has three sheds and an area large enough to park a small boat or recreational vehicle. One of the sheds has been wired for electric and is used as a workshop. The home is well located for getting places fast. It is just 2 minutes from the Gouglersville exit to Rte. 222, five miles to the Pennsylvania Turnpike 20 miles to Lancaster, PA., and five miles to Wyomissing, PA. Schedule to see this home soon and find out if it has what you have been looking for in a home. Listing agent, Jeffrey Hogue 484-325-0111.

Factors like safety, the quality of schools, and community atmosphere contribute to its distinct identity, while specific features such as a thriving food scene, parks, or a rich history can make it special. Ultimately, a neighborhood becomes unique through the relationships residents build, the shared meanings they attach to places, and the lifestyle it"

  • Morsletine67
"There are a lot of people that walk their dogs in this area and most people are animal friendly, but you do have some people that put up signs to keep off lawn. The reason I believe this happens is because you do have some people, very few, that will walk their dogs at night and not clean up. As a dog owner, I always clean up after my dog and I get very annoyed when I am walking and I see that someone didn’t clean up after their dog. "
  • Jul Kastle
"Very Friendly Neighborhood~We Feel safe in our Community. Everyone is friendly and welcoming..Nice place to call Home. "
  • Jfinks69

  • Morgan
"724 can be backed up at times, which is annoying. Local groceries, post office, school and farmers market is all very convenient. "
  • Pchacon2122
"Neighbors are pet friendly and I have ample space for my dogs in my yard. I feel my dogs are safe in our yard/home "
  • D. Rivera
"Absolutely nothing. I moved here because I lived among the elderly and they began moving and selling their homes after Covid. Now the neighbors are loud with music playing constantly. Outside smoking weed and using profanity all the time. Gets worse during the summer time. I cannot let my kids outside to ply because there is no respect for them as children."
  • hm96
"Some people do not keep their dogs quiet, then the barking picks up when people or another dog is walking by. "
  • Keesha Hill
