"The people here are very nice. Most of the area is safe for families and individuals. Public transportation exists, but a vehicle is almost a necessity due to the distances between shopping, schools, doctors, entertainment and so forth. "

Events at the Beam skatepark for kids and the whole community during holidays, the Johnstown Area Heritage Association has several large events a year, as well as ethnic fest and polka fest in Cambria City."

"There a lot of festivals around the area during the year including many food and music festivals. There is also a very near by arts festival that occurs in the beginning of September. There are also many firemen festivals as well. A lot of things to do that include things that are only a short drive away. "
