I can't say enough about Hattie Dyer. The principal Mrs. Boone is so caring and kind to all the students and her staff. The teachers at Hattie Dyer truly care about the kid's safety, education, and their wellbeing. They help the kids' set goals for themselves and explain to them it's not about getting 100% but it's about growing. My child never felt alone or left out being the new kid in town. My child came home with more confidence every day. The way they run things is amazing.

The staff, students and community here in Krum work hard every day to promote our educational environment and community. I love this place!

My son is in 6th grade and has been attending in person rather than online. As a single mom with 2 boys, my experience with the school district has been extremely positive. I have seen them have to make some hard, necessary, and perhaps, unpopular decisions based on the current conditions but all with the motivation of keeping children and staff safe. I am grateful to the district for the option of in person learning and the educators who showed up in this pandemic to teach. My son is not in sports and not in accelerated classes and reports having a good experience with all of his teachers, especially Mr. Smith, which he describes as kind despite not being a Cowboys fan :) Everyone I have interacted with has been helpful and kind and I feel fortunate to live in a supportive educational community.

My son has been so happy at Dodd. He comes home happy everyday telling me how happy he is that he switched school. The teachers set high expectations and do everything in their power to help all their students reach or even surpass those goals. When walking the halls the teachers are friendly and smiling, making the building a very inviting place to be. I highly recommend this campus to everyone that I know!

The EEC is an excellent school in my opinion. All 3 of my children have gone there and loved it! we had Mrs. walker my sons first grade year and she was amazing. my son has adhd and she worked with him and never made me feel like he was a burden like our previous school/teacher made me feel. This year we have Ms. Miller for my kindergarteners and she is a shining example of what a teacher should be caring but firm and patient. If she is absent from class, my kids miss her and on thanksgiving break they are counting down the days to go back to school. I do not like is that it's only a 2 year school. they are sent to another school for 2-3rd grade then yet another for 4-5th. which makes it difficult if you have more than one child.
