This "HIGH SCHOOL" is supposed to help you in being college ready, yet it's staff and administration runs the place as if it were a middle school. With all do respect I have transferred through many high schools and for this to be the one my parents chose for me to stay in, it is clearly the worst. I felt as if nobody gave a rats ass, about helping me get opportunities for my future. In conclusion of all this, GROW UP and DO YOUR JOB.

There's a lot of bullying and harassment that occurs in this school. Students will often be doing pranks, fighting in restrooms, or instigate conflicts with school staff (Some cases lead to physical altercations). So, it's not really a safe environment for vulnerable kids.

This school has a great principal who is very involved and is "present." The teachers at this school really care about the students and will go above and beyond to help. My daughter (moved to this school in 2nd grade) is extremely shy and thanks to the encouragement of her 2nd and 3rd grade teachers, she is more confident and excelling in school - all A's! They have partnered up with the City of Pharr to provide excellent after-school programs. Academics are good. My daughter's reading has improved dramatically, along with reinforcement at home. Curriculum is taught in English. I am sure they offer ESL classes for those students who need it.
