"Not too bad the traffic wasn’t that bad at all coming here to visit. Does your normal standard traffic but we didn’t have to stop at all. We were going to speed limit. There’s not a great deal of traffic up here. After you hit the highway on Sonora and you’re coming to Twain Hart."
  • Oldvolks4209
"There are tons of hiking paths near anywhere you choose to stay. Most people have an animal if you dont include wildlife."

"Very dog friendly! No sidewalks but it doesn’t seem to be a problem for walking. Most cars slow down. "

"Terrific neighborhood, great neighbors, special and safe community. Lots of wildlife. On the edge of the snow line so it doesn't get too deep."
  • Mary K.
"Nice rural area with bears and deer Large acreage Some vacation homes Some full timers Snow in the winter "
  • Jim H.
"Twain Harte is a great location to retire or live full time, the subject property has trails that you can take directly to Lyons Lake walking or biking."
  • John P.
"Twain Harte is a recreational second home resort area based at 3800 foot elevation approximately 2 hours from SF bay area. Located on the edge of the gold country, there is lots to see and explore in this area. Close to snow and lake skiing, golfing, fishing, mountains, and historic areas. Retirees also make this area their homes. Snow comes and goes during the winters and summers are incredibly warm and beautiful. Temperatures are moderate during the fall and springs seasons. Close to mother lode towns such as Sonora, Columbia, Angels Camp, and Murphys. Lots to do and see for the active child or adult. "
