"Fryeburg Academy has amazing Arts offerings, and many caring faculty members. The Molly Ockett School is a new facility, and the academy is building a beautiful new dining hall with computer lab, maker space, and a counseling suite. "
  • Mimi R.
"The Academy is pretty great, with caring teachers and students, lots of sports, arts, and outdoor opportunities. "

"historic fryeburg fair. small town feel with a few newer amenities like subway. 20 minutes to famous north conway and white Mountains beyond. fall foliage is known far and away."
  • Mimi R.
"Fryeburg Academy brings the arts within walking distance and it’s usually quiet by 8 p.m. We had a snowy owl pay an hour-long visit this week! "
  • Mimi R.
"Fryrburg Academy keeps things interesting with their arts program and bringing in artists, a film festival, and presentations at the Performing Arts Center. "

"The area is not for me..Maybe somebody else would appreciate it. PROS - Quite ( When no gun fire ) CONS- Guns shooting off all through the hours early am - and at night. Bugs are thicker here than most places and are harder to control. Muddy, wet and Mosquitos are Hand Giant and the Ants Fly and look as if they are on Steroids. Spiders are heavy travelers along with Black Wasps,Hornets. Sprayed 5 times to no help. Ticks are Thicker than usual in this general area. Cars and Trucks Speed down the main roads so would consider not safe to walk about with children. Everything closes early and unreliable between 6-8pm all activity is pretty much at a halt for the night so good luck for eating out late. Garbage is flung about through out certain areas on properties & roads. Really haven't seen any community events to comment on. Unsure on area's safety? its questionable. Over all if I had to make a choice of an area to live I most likely would not move in this general location. "

"I am a local agent servicing the surrounding area for 18 years. I also reside within 5 miles of this exceptional home. Fryeburg is known for its quiet, comfortable village atmosphere and excellance in schools with Fryeburg Acadamy being the public high school for Fryeburg residents."
