2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is a mixed bag, but overall I would not recommend it. The teachers are obviously passionate and try their hardest with the funding they have available, and they do a good job of teaching the curriculum. Unfortunately, the school does a poor job of preventing poor behavior and bullying.Parent Review8mo ago9 Reviews - Fox Creek Jr High School

1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI've made a review previously about my experience here. I'm the longest reply, and at the time I was a freshman. I am now a senior who was forced to return here after unfortunate circumstances. In terms of where this school has gone from the two and a half year gap that I left it is a jump in quality, yet still a bad school overall. In terms of learning I haven't learned a single thing here, the school system is messed up, and everything seems very unfocused. The school isn't as riddled with terrible people as it was before, but to be honest everyone is fine to be around and supportive in their own way. The school wastes its budget terribly on things that don't work, such as metal detectors and little promotional materials they had me work on. Instead of fixing the bathrooms, air conditioning and other more useful things that would help cope with the terrible summer heat. School starts too quickly for the fact we do absolutely nothing, and things don't actually start for two weeks after the first initial day. Thanks to the principal this has been a huge improvement, though still retaining a sense of dullness and a small pit of hatred that only comes with living here. Enjoy it if you can, it could be a lot worse.Student Review5mo ago3 Reviews - CRUHSD Academy

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has improved over the years. Teachers and staff provide more than just academic support for students. The academy feels like more of a home for students who were left in the sidelines in regular high schools.Parent Review4y ago2 Reviews - Check out schools near 1885 Corwin.

"Not enough dog parks. In the summer the roads a pavement gets extremely hot and can burn their feet. Most houses here don’t have yards"

"I've lived here a lot of years and it's getting to be a busier city. The traffic is getting much worse on highway 95 along with the accidents. We do have lots of parks to choose from. We only have basic healthcare here. If you need any kind of specialized care, you will need to go outside of Bullhead City for that. We are a tourist town, and all of our activity/enterpirse is geared towards attracting that demographic. "

"Except for the four months summer heat the weather is wonderful the remaining 8 months. Entertainment is available across the River in Laughlin NV. A 4 month quail season and 12 month cottontail season along with predators keeps the hunter busy while the Colorado River and lake Mohave makes a day of fishing easy to plan."

"it's way too hot in the summer, there's no street lighting, the asphalt it way too hot, it's got a lot of other dogs and there's a lot of barking after hours, but I love it here being so close to the river, lets see what winter is like, I'll let you know in a few months "

"I have lived here for the last 30 years. depending on your child's age I feel strongly after dark most children should be home. the ones who can still be safe out after dark should only be of later teen years. Parents need to be more involved in what their children are doing and I don't think any children should be able to be out after dark. "

"the river. rotary park has a decent size skate park for beginners to provramps. this park has it all with three full size tennis court yards. 4-6 soccer, baseball, football and basket ball courts. then to top it off they have three play grounds for the younger kids. and all of this sites along side of the Colorado River. it doesn't get any better than this"
