NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe LOVED Central Elementary. Mrs. Magin and her entire staff were AMAZING ! You could feel a child centered atmosphere when you walked in the building. The school and PTO provided many fun activities for students to participate in. Both my children left kindergarten reading and well prepared for first grade.Parent Review6y ago3 Reviews - Chamberlin Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBoth my kids attended k-12 at Stephenville High School. Both are in college today. Recent high school additions and renovations has brought the facilities up and above the average. Upgrades include fine arts and work force studies. Grade level alignment could be improved as elementary campuses serve only 2 grades. I do like that all kids in the district attend the same grade level throughout k-12. District invest heavily in Ag programs and excel in such. Athletics are also a plus as SISD is state champions in several programs including football, soccer and basketball and track. Community continues to support bond programs that have allowed major improvements at all campuses. Just recently, a bond passed to build a new stadium for the football and soccer programs. Hope my kids return someday and that their kids will attend SISD.Parent Review3y ago2 Reviews - Henderson Junior High School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFrom being in a small rural school, there are so many more opportunities for our kids here. The education is so much better and extra curricular activities are wonderful. My kids are so much happy and there are many more kids to find a match for friends. Best move we have ever made for our kids (and we have moved alot)!Other Review5y ago2 Reviews - Gilbert Intermediate School

"almost everyone has a dog and people are really open to bringing them most places. Unfortunately, parks don't enforce 'bag the poop' laws strongly enough."

"People are friendly. Little to no crime. Not like in major cities. Quiet atmosphere. Shopping is near by. We have H-E-B and Walmart for groceries. We have department stores. It doesn’t have everything, but it does have what you need! There’s about 17k to 20k people that live here. July 2019"
