We don't do anything in this school but sleep and text. I realize that all the teachers expect nothing from you! students here don't believe in ambition. The hard truth, I even have video footage of my everyday school day on youtube. Whoever rates this higher than one star might be for the very same reason that yes, we do have a lot of chat time and text but that misses the point. A school in New York or Los Angeles would be very diffrent. Where are all ther artists, singers, actors, writers, presidents, and inspirational people from? L.A. or NYC of coarse. Have you ever heard of a Denzel Washington from Brownsville or Porter HS? The point is that Porter is a school that hides kids from the fact that we are meaningless little ignorants. Well said.

Maria Cardiza, does not know how to talk to parents without being so rude!!! It's sad that a great school with great teachers have people like this to represent Longoria. And when I called to to tell I was going to report her, she didn't even care to resolve my concern. She cleared stated, "you do what you have to do!" And hung up!! And then they wonder why their student enrollment is low!!

Before anything, check your legal status, and how will that affect you by the time you will graduate. They are not really forthcoming over that and will try their hardest to keep you in their school. What is better option, a normal high school or a small one? Be sure to be aware of what is better for the student so their experience can be the best!
