I love this hidden gem in the desert! New River school is in a fantastic community and has amazing teachers and staff. I witness teachers taking an interest in the students and getting to know them and their interests. We may be small, but we are mighty! There are great things happening at this school!

"its quiet. a big snowbird area. gets busier in the winter. lots of trails for biking, hiking, or horseback. Close enough to Phoenix to commute but far enough to have a horse ranch."

"I have lived in my lovely Ranch-style New River home now for 19 years. Where once there were no homes in view, now, is surrounded by other lovely homes with good neighbors consisting of working professionals, families with kids, snow-birds, single men/women, retired couples... a mixed bag of wonderfulness in every aspect. Spring and Fall are just lovely here and makes-up for the hot summer months. Rest of the year, the time is spent outdoors enjoying the desert fauna and flora in its full beauty."

"I have driven through this area and even been to the Carlise Mountain. The view is amazing and I wish I had the money to live there!!! Shopping is right down the road about 2 miles; it is clean friendly and has Home Depot, Albertson's food market McDonald's etc. The shooting range is only 15 minutes away. I-17 is only 5 minutes away. Lake Pleasant also is very close and a great place to go on the weekends. IT IS PERFECT! "

"Enjoy the amenities of living in the city and moments away you can slip off into the sunset riding your horse, ATVs or hiking the trails and mountains. Very beautiful north valley area of Arizona with its natural wonders to enjoy the natural Arizona scenery in the peace & quite... tranquility at it's best. Many hiking trails mountains horse riding trails and lovely sunsets, friendly neighborly area. Just a short drive to the outlet malls, shopping and dining. "
