"I have lived here since 1986, I love this little town. I dont worry bout being home alone with children. You can drive down the street and people will wave to you. "

"One convenience store, one restaurant. Very peaceful place to live. Far from any major stores, closest hardware and grocery stores are in Mojave/California City. 20+ minutes to Highway 395. Always quiet, minimal traffic. West neighborhood is 'the slums,' middle section all have large lots, and all are single family type homes. East neighborhood have somewhat smaller lots."
