NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son Jr. is currently in kindergarten at Deer Run Elementary, and we have had such a positive experience this year! He was not in prek, so I was a bit worried. His teacher, Mrs. Ragaini, has been absolutely wonderful. She is patient, kind, and truly attentive to her students individual needs. We appreciate her so very much.Since starting school, I’ve seen so much growth in my son!! Not just academically, but socially and emotionally as well. He feels safe, supported, and excited to go to school each day, which means everything to me as a parent.Mrs. Ragaini communicates clearly and makes herself available when parents have questions or concerns. It’s clear she genuinely cares about her students and wants them to succeed. She has an amazing routine! We are very grateful for the nurturing and structured environment at Deer Run Elementary. It has been a great start to my son’s educational journey!Parent Review4mo ago3 Reviews - Dominick H. Ferrara School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHonestly after East Haven changed the schools around, this school has gone down the drain. The children rarely get recess or physical activity and there is no hands on learning, not even in Science class. I was severly dissapointed as a parent to see my child bored and not challenged at all. We decided to leave the EH school system behind and choose a different school for our honor student where she could be challenged.Parent Review14y ago1 Reviews - East Haven High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere was a staff member who wrote a review on here blaming both the parents and the children, and that alone speaks volumes about the environment families may face at this school. As parents, we entrust our children to “qualified” professionals who are trained to support, guide, and help students succeed — not publicly shame or blame them. The review below is a prime example of the dismissive and unprofessional attitude many parents are concerned about. Instead of accountability, empathy, and problem-solving, the response shifts blame onto children and families. That reflects poorly on the administration and staff culture as a whole. If this is how concerns are handled publicly, parents should seriously consider what their child may experience behind closed doors over the next three years at this school.Parent Review1mo ago14 Reviews - Check out schools near 183 Thompson St #E.

"I just moved here after living in Naugatuck for over 20 years. Almost everything I need is within walking distance from my apartment, and downtown has a “Normal Rockwell” feel to it. There are sidewalks, people walking their dogs and life! What a refreshing change from the valley! (And the rent is cheaper, too.)"
