"Not all people clean up after their pets. Some do not have leashes. Some do not understand pet behavior "
  • Trulia User
"Parades and other cultural events within the diverse community. Everything is nearby and there are many ways to commute."
  • Trulia User
"ive lived here for a few years, very welcoming neighbors and the public spaces while small are very well kept."
  • Trulia User
"Not enough intentional dog parks. lots of open space to walk your dog but not many designated dog spaces."
  • Trulia User
"The neighborhood is very stable and has families with small children with very involved parents. Folks take good care of their property and surroundings. "
  • Trulia User
"I've lived here for 11 years. It's a very comfortable place to live and is close to so many things, so incredibly convenient! Traffic can be congested sometimes, but it's worth it to have all the stores, restaurants, etc nearby."
  • M V.
"I've lived in this community for 17 years now. I raised my daughters here. They went to Nantucket and Crofton Elementary, Crofton Middle, and Arundel HS. Crofton has a lot to do and is central to Annapolis, Ft Meade, Baltimore, and DC. A lot of grocery stores, gyms, and things to do. Good place to live!"
  • Angela A.
"There are a lot of dog owners here always walking their dogs. Thereโ€™s a dog park five minutes away and itโ€™s perfect for some socialization. "
  • M V.
"This is a great area to raise children. Also there is so much to do in Crofton. Restaurants, stores, a few bars, shopping centers. "
  • Jennifer B.
"Itโ€™s a densely populated area but still feels like a close and friendly community because of the local farmers market, country club events, and the many friendly people that are out enjoying a walk/run through the neighborhoods. "
  • Shanpaynewishes
"we live down the street from the elementary school. many young families in the area. new high school being built."
  • Djullydorejayden
"is a great neighborhood but parents still have to protect their children and whatch over them even if the neighborhood is safe."
  • Lea W.
"Most people clean up after pets!!! Dog owners would love the ponds, parks, and walking paths. Most dogs are leash trained, so no worries!!! "
  • Diane B.
"friendly neighbors, great neighborhood pools, great schools and lots of kids. many have lived here most of family's life and leave only due to downsize or retirement need. "
  • Malarie N.
"If youโ€™re in the townhouses many people have signs up saying donโ€™t let your dog go on their lawn. If there was more open area itโ€™d be okay but there isnโ€™t."
  • Jokafor
"There are a lot of great parks and outdoor spaces to walk dogs. Itโ€™s a very Dog friendly area. I donโ€™t have a dog, but I love it. "
  • Tamika
"I was raised here. It's been overdeveloped in the last 5 years, so it's not the same place as I grew up. There were horse farms and much more trees. The neighborhood's biggest hill, where all the local kids used to line up to sled down in the winter is now paved over and an assistance living home resides in its place. It's more lively than your typical suburban town because we have a lot of amenities for a three-strip-town but also a lot of traffic because it is a straight shot to 97 from 50 and 301 dead-ends at Rt. 3/97 in the north and VA in the south. Sometimes it feels like people don't work during the day because Rt. 3 is so busy and Saturdays are THE worse! It's the sweet spot being 30 min. equidistant to DC & Baltimore and 15 min outside of Annapolis. I enjoyed my childhood because I had one here, but I'm ready to move."
  • Tanya
"This neighborhood is full of people who believe they have made it. People put forth a lot of effort to keep up with the Joneses."
  • Bob T.
"Weekly free music concerts at the village green Ice cream social every year. Many people walking, jogging, biking on the Parkway "
  • Hulksmommy
"It's very family friendly. It has elementary schools and a new high school that will open for the 19/20 school year. "
  • Lidia B.
"Many families have dogs with several more areas that allow your pet to explore freely. Families walk their dogs daily. "
  • Kenneth H.
"The community is Family oriented and everybody looks out for each other. Lots of kids in the area which is great for meeting new families"
  • Kurtisyoder
"People are always walking there dogs, running, and biking. Golf course near by with great park for kids and tennis court."
  • Lcv1505
"Schools, crime if any in the area, activities, safetyโ€™s entertainment near the house, close to DC and Baltimore"
  • Mjenkins923
"Festival on the Green. Farmers market. Halloween parade. Spring parade. Sunday night concerts at the country club. "
  • Mark A. Y.
"Not far from DC, Annapolis, and Baltimore. Quiet but not boring. Lots of places to eat. Good community"
  • Cartinabryant
"Great neighborhood. Family oriented. It is like a hidden city within a city. Great place for families of all ages."
