This school has ongoing challenges related to diversity, cultural awareness, and professional conduct. Despite serving a community with many Hispanic and Spanish-speaking students and families, there appears to be a lack of cultural competency among some staff members.some staff members maintain public social media presences that include political content. While individuals are entitled to personal views, such activity can raise concerns about professionalism and its impact on trust and inclusion within a diverse school community.There are also concerns regarding how students are treated. At times, students who struggle academically or need additional support are spoken to in a dismissive or condescending manner. There have been observations of students being laughed at or discussed disrespectfully by adults, including students receiving special education services. These behaviors undermine student dignity and are inconsistent with best practices in education.Overall, the school would benefit from stronger leadership oversight, clearer expectations for professional conduct, and sustained training in cultural competency, equity, and inclusive practices to ensure a respectful and supportive environment for both students and staff.

I was bullied by a lot of kids at the school and I'm pretty sure none of them got ran up and when they asked one of the girls that are mean to me to come to the counselor they believed her just cuz she was a girl and this school the students get treated unfairly by the staff for no reason. There's a few good teachers but still I had an awful experience at the school

School should be there to help students learn how to live life with the most success in the future and yet this school fails to do so. Too much drug activity happening in the bathrooms and other areas. If you have a high school child, move/stay away from GBN or homeschool them if you can. Bad crowds amongst the school and now they have drug sniffing dogs roaming the halls. STAY AWAY!!
