This community in southern Washington County is rural yet within an hour to Albany, 45 min. to Saratoga Springs and Manchester, VT, 35 min. or less to Global Foundaries. Artisanal bakers, goat cheese makers, Battenkill Ice Cream, great home-grown beef, pork, chicken, eggs, raw milk, every veggie imaginable from local growers, apple orchards and so much more! Artists hold Open Studio Days, farmers host Farm Tours."

Very community oriented with lots of churches for everyone, annual Balloon Festival, quaint family run stores/farm stores for fresh veggies/flowers. Easy driving distance to Saratoga Springs/horse/track, Lake George, Albany, Vermont, etc..go do anything and come back to the quiet."
