"Like the open space for their dogs and also can take walks on asphalt streets. Is dog friendly and many pets in the neighborhood "
    • Cristina Miccio
"Good maintenance, strong HOA, reasonable prices compared to what is in the local markets. Close enough to interstate and county cities to make it possible to work in VA , WV, MD and PA."
    • Cristina Miccio
"Lots of room for dogs to get walked and have fun. More young families buying here. It’s rural but good proximity to employment and 1 1/2 hours to Metro Washington DC. Affordable homes for this area Relaxing and Mountain View."
    • Shannon Lewis
"There are a lot of young families with lots of kids. No play area or community events. Schools are close, but a bus is needed. "
    • Shannon Lewis
"We don’t have a lot of functions here. The neighborhood keeps to themselves. We have a community yard sale in the spring and a lot of kids during Halloween. "
    • Bakeretta2
"The area is a good place to raise kids. If you’re out away from town, no one bothers you. you do need to watch your children for snakes mostly black snakes are in the area. I haven’t seen anything dangerous and the time that we’ve lived here."
    • CM
"Close to all that you need and don’t need. Close to I-81. One main park (or 2) are very well kept and enjoyed by all. Safe, attractive, somewhat rural neighborhood. About 5 minutes or less from an elementary school, post office and corner grocery with short order meals and essentials. 5 or 6 minutes from the village of Gerrardstown."

"Small town feel and country living with easy and close access to cities. D.C. bedroom community with Amtrak close for commutes. Historic and can get to skiing, arts, festivals, historic cites. Great schools and plenty to do with the ability to 'get away from it all' at the same time."
    • friedayelton
"This is the last place on earth safe enough to raise a loving family. The views are breathtaking and the neighbors are caring. "
