7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagedon't get sick and don't take family vacations during the school year. Other wise the teachers and principle will accuse you of truancy. the teacher will give your kids extra homework when they're sick and expect you to pick it up the SAME day you call in sick for your child... if you refuse to pick it up that day you'll get a phone call from the principle like I did. when your child is sick with a high fever, they should be allowed to rest at home and not have to do home work until they return to good health! the other schools have to be better, its a teacher problem here at Lincoln 4th grade.......Parent Review9y ago5 Reviews - Zeeland East High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have had 2 children go through ZE. Both with very different learning styles. From our experience if you are a strong student academically you do well mostly because you drive yourself. There are some teachers who have the insight to see that not every student fits into a box. But most with our experience is that the teacher is there to teach a curriculum. If you can't grasp it then you struggle. With both our kids we found teachers at ZW to be better at stepping outside of the box and helping the student reach their potential. Neither of our children were discipline problems so I don't know how they handle that aspect. The overall atmosphere from fellow students is not the most positive. And leadership at the time was not very good at follow through with bullying issues. Or ways to build up an atmosphere of students respecting other students.Parent Review9y ago3 Reviews - Zeeland Quest

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageZQuest is such a great school. My son teacher knows his strengths and weaknesses and works to find a balance to both push him further in his strengths while improving on his weaknesses. His teacher is extremely compassionate and responsive. There are so many events and school programs throughout the year to expose the kids to history, culture, and the arts as well as to have fun. I love how involved the parents are in the success of the school. The principal is extremely involved and personally acknowledges each students achievements. We've been impressed by the quality of the students and teachers work. Spanish is definitely part of the curriculum and the school acknowledges and appreciates parental involvement. Our child has flourished at the school and we're sure he will continue to do so under the excellent tutelage and leadership of the Zquest staff. "I live and work in Zeeland, and enjoy the small town feel. The neighbors are friendly, there are many local churches, you can walk around anytime and feel safe. There are many beautiful, historic homes in this well established community, and many conveniences as well within walking distance. "I don't own a dog, but a fence would be preferred. in my neighborhood there are no fences. the dog near my house isnt trained and has to be on a leash. other than that, the city has great trails, parks and sidewalks for dogs to roam. "
