it is a good school it's so good I don't have words for the 6 years I was there it was wonderful

My daughter loves Bayshore!! The school is really family and community oriented!! The teachers are innovative in keeping the students engaged and excited to learn and families show up and support ALL of the schools events! Bayshore is infamous for the annual Hoe down, donuts with dad, and muffins with mom!!

As a now young adult, emphasis on adult and an alumni who attended Caloosa Middle all three years, I had an encounter with one of my previous female science & biology teacher from 8th grade outside of school where not only was I disrespected but belittled in a professional environment where she was met with nothing but kindness, respect and information. It’s disgusting and disheartening to see your teacher from when you were a teenager continue to still be a classless act, rude adult on and off the clock still years later. Teachers are crucial in a child’s development in education & exhibiting manners/etiquette and it’s time for Caloosa Middle to re-evaluate the teachers who’ve been there for years that are in charge of the youth of today and represent Caloosa Middle School at all times. There’s so many better schools, please enroll your child anywhere else and know if your child ever complains here or is in constant trouble with teachers…believe them. It’s 99% the teachers, not the students and it keep getting proved years later even as a young adult now.

The school is racist towards black students and there is one time I was outside for almost an hour about to pass out just to be told to get to class

My son has attended this school for the past two years. We had such an amazing experience with teachers Mrs Thompson and Mrs Hodges. We struggled adjusting to the new school but with time he has made friends and has improved his grades and overall attitude towards the school and learning experience. I would love for them to offer the kids more opportunities related music and arts.

I won't say much but this school sucks I can't wait to go to a different school honestly I spoke of something that happened and it was told it was a lie it's not but I got 2 days of iss for telling the assistant principal that people came up to me and now I'm the only one in iss the other students are still in there classes I feel like no ones on my side like I don't want to be ur favorite for u to realize what's wrong and right I told the truth and I get called a liar then go to iss for no reason at all and for two days def favorites.

At dismissal we are not allowed to contact our parents which we should be able to do, If an emergency we are also not allowed to contact our parents, and “on school grounds” we are not allowed to even “touch” our phones during diss misal

Staff are not helpful and worried about the wrong things the only reason I go is cause there medical program there’s always problems there and staff worried about things they don’t need to and are ridiculous about dress code depending on you body type if ur shiny no meat on ur bones it’s ok to wear short shorts or even if ur more on the big side you get away with it they don’t treat students equally the only good staff member there is ms.Steven’s the school isn’t fair to most student and many teaches don’t care I’ve even seen staff treat special needs student aggressively not a good school in my opinion
