I attended Rustburg high school until my senior year, I had to get out. The teachers were all very sweet, but some were highly inappropriate. I thought the principals handled everything in a bad manner. The students were always fighting, the food was served in poor quality, and everything about this school never defined success. The dropout rate increased, there were about 30 pregnant teenagers a year, Rustburg high school should be shut down or replace some faculty.

My son had an amazing experience at this school !! He was enrolled in Harvest. He had an emotional disability & ADHD. The summer camp was also a very crucial part of the amazing progress he made ! He looked forward to seeing his teachers everyday. We felt supported as a family. The communication was great from start to finish! Everyone there from Harvest staff to his regular teachers and the principals went above and beyond to bending over backwards, to ensure his needs were met at every level necessary to ensure a positive / productive environment was in place to keep him on a upwards trajectory in his success! He thrived there and misses everyone dearly !

My son loved the school ! He looked forward to seeing his teachers & friends everyday. The support system for his special needs transferred from his elementary school seamlessly. I always felt like I was truly a part of his process. In regards to getting the support I felt was needed to implement a routine or course of action at home & having it carried out at school . For example if he was misbehaving. I felt as if they really really cared about him and everyone there involved in his day to day truly went above & beyond to ensure the most positive & successful outcome possible !! The progress he made from his grades ( struggled to honor roll ) and his emotional struggles / maturity are astounding!
