"It’s a great area for raising a family the schools are great and the small businesses give that hometown feeling and it’s only 27 minutes away from beautiful Cherry Grove Beach "
  • Charlene J.
"easy but in town it is very busy and it needs more traffic lights. the u turns that are required to get to log cabin road and liberty church also flag patch road are ridiculous. "
  • Angela G.
"I just moved to the area and I am happy to be living in a safe environment and neighbors are friendly."
  • Bckpresa
"Very friendly neighborhood, all homes are well kept.Close to the beaches and major attractions yet far enough away to avoid the summer tourist traffic."
  • Skyedebbie
"The area is nice. It’s about 25 minutes to the ocean. The people in the neighborhood are nice. Animal friendly. You do need a car to grocery stores. "
  • Skyedebbie
"I have lived in this neighborhood for almost a year and found it very comfortable. It’s very quiet and perfect for retired folks like me. "
  • Pattyinotisco
"I have lived here for two and a half years and my neighbors are the best. We smile and say hi to each other and tell each other if we will be gone so the others will watch for packages or something abnormal. We have never had any problems and we love it here."
  • Adamefird1898
"public transportation is almost nonexistent but a great area to live. business continues to improve and the schools encourage parental involvement. "
  • Bosssbitch
"I have lived in this neighborhood for 21 years. Most everyone there has lived there that long or longer. Everyone pretty much minds there business, but they do not really decorate for the holidays. There are a lot of break-ins. Most people have had things stolen from their house, been broken in on, or unfortunately in some rare cases been broken in on and killed. If you are looking for that type of area this is it. if not look elsewhere."
  • Tb F.
"Live in neighborhood and fire station and police station are only 2 blocks away. The neighbors are friendly and help each other. Perfect home for family. "
  • Bastille70
"Loris is a wonderful place to retire or raise a family. My Dad was raised in Loris and my grandparents lived there until they passed. Wonderful land, churches, grocery stores, and community involvement. Fantastic community feeling. Myrtle Beach is just a quick 30 minute drive for all the shopping and dining you could possibly imagine...not to mention the beautiful beaches! "
  • Jimstrait48
"If you want to start a business stay away but if you want to be close to the beach and not the expense and have quiet surrean days relaxing on your porch or even raising small kids in a small town its great. I know, because this is my hometown!!"
  • Leah S.
"I am Leah Sanson and i used to live in this house. We had so many animals get killed on the road, but you can always use the HUGE backyard to have your pet on a chain. This house has great space inside, a snack bar, and 2 good bathrooms. This is a great 3 bedroom house for a cute little family. I loved living here with my mom, dad, sister, and two brothers. We've had great times at this house. And the car port we actually blocked off and used it so we could have our game tables set up, or just a cool place to hang out in the summer. The barn in the back needs to be rebuilt or something, but has great storage room (NOT GOOD FOR CHILDREN TO GO INTO) Either way this is a great house to live in!"
