"Gorgeous mountain area west of Brevard and east of the Cashiers Highlands area but convenient to all. State Park, National Forests, awesome waterfalls and views everywhere. Laid back lifestyle, friendly people with a great four season climate with all seasons moderate. Safe, exceptionally low crime rate, good schools and community activities. "

"If you're looking for a remote feel, but still close to major roads and other towns, the Fox Ridge area is hard to beat. Quiet, safe and close to Gorges State Park and Pisgah National Forest in the heart of Transylvania County. Brevard and Cashiers are equal distance from Fox Ridge (Lake Toxaway) along Hwy 64 and offer many shopping and restaurant options. "
