Montana de Oro state park with all its splendor, hiking, biking, and horseback riding trails, and beaches is bicycling and walking distance, Sweet Springs Nature Reserve is a fun walk through a neighborhood trail at the end of the cul de sac Ash is on. There is a bird estuary there and a viewing area to sit and have a glass of wine, watch the sun set...Several restaurants in walking distance with water views to eat by. Kayak launching area in walking distance, you can even keep your canoe or kayak at the launching site if you live in the Cuesta neighborhood. Lots more!"
