Amazing environment, staff truly invested in educating their children. My kids are transfers and we drive 20 miles to be part of this school.

Some teachers are really good about teaching or making class fun, though most aren't. Many don't teach and some refuse to let us go into their conference or free period to catch up on missed work. Some classes, we are given the answer key to every assignment and others we just sit around and do nothing every single day. Some teachers are really good though, but their's not nearly enough of them. They also hold some of us back. They failed to give me some classes this year because they didn't want me to get ahead of my peers. It also lacks funding for mostly everything except football. Fine arts department is pushed aside as a joke by most people and it struggles to float through their UIL competitions. Used to have really good food, but has gone down recently. Best part is the small school atmosphere and the ability to excel easily if you're half-decent at something. You know pretty much everybody. Though somehow, class size is really unproportionate. There's some classes with only about 8 kids in each but two different periods, or there are classes with only one period but 30 students. Random stuff, there was a big knife found recently in a bag and drugs/vaping occur all the time. 99% sure someone brought some type of alcohol to school both last year and another person this year. Punishments are also completely biased. Any athletes or nerds get away with the same stuff that gets "average" people in trouble.
