"We live in the area and a neighbor's very friendly dog got out, a 14 year old boy shot and killed the dog with his brother...this was not a justified kill, the boys tortured the dog by shooting her 6-8 times. There are gangs in the school that are kept hushed about- the school students split themselves by nationality where "white" is the minority. There is a very large Spanish speaking population, that will talk about non Spanish speakers right in front of them. You can tell when the INS is in the area over half the population of the area disappears. The school district is failing, and over half the students are on meds for ADHD, ADD and various other things, if your student is not able to sit at their desks for 10 min the parents receive a letter to take them to the doctor to be tested.
