So far this school has treated my child with unrealistic standards. The teachers believe that the child should be respectful. Yet the teachers do not show any respect to the kids. I also have found that there is little respect to the parents as well. The teachers like to show their authority and complain over little things to the parents. The teachers I have talked with have judged my child and have done nothing but find fault. It's like that old saying, if you keep looking for it you will find it. Well they just keep looking for anything they can complain about and make you look bad. But really it just makes them look bad. I sympathize with the other parent who is thinking about moving. I am thinking about pulling my son from this school. They lack compassion and are more concerned on how they look on the outside than actually helping children learn. They also have to remember that children learn in different ways. If your child is different they make a big fuss.

This school is an avergae school for academics and sports and is probably great if you fit the mold of Straight, white, evangelical, conservative. No inclusivity or tolerance. Dangerous and politically charged school board being guided in part by a christian nationalist law firm, ILC.

I have no issues with the middle school, teachers regularly email parents with assignments, staff is friendly, my daughter doesn't get along with everyone but who does? School is secure with armed guards on duty. Lunches are fine according to my daughter. Counselling service is available during the day. Only negative is the school is old and should be remodeled.
