Borders the Abraham Lincoln capital airport, in Springfield Illinois! 115 acres in Sangamon county with 2 manufactured homes, with attached 30x30 garage, a 30x50 shed and an in ground pool! Both homes are 3 bedroom 2 bath and are in excellent shape, the main home has an attached garage, a covered breezeway and an in ground pool! Both have beautiful landscaping. The land borders the airport in Springfield, so it close to town but makes you feel like you are way out in the country. This farm is not in any type of government program and has not been in any type of program. The top of the property, coming in from the south, there are a lot of different types of apple trees, and the deer hammer them. Then the top field is approximately 8.5 acres, in alfalfa that could be a great pasture or food plot or great place to plant trees. The road system that runs through the farm is large enough to drive your truck on, and the roads are easy to maintain. There is an oak ridge that separates the top field and the bottom land, lots of oaks, walnut, and hickory. The Sangamon river runs across the north side of the property and there is a 15 acre field with good dirt in the bottom, I can only imagine how good the deer hunting would be if this was in beans. There are hundreds of large maple trees all over the bottom and they are great for hanging deer stands. The bottom field has been crops, it has been sunflower, its been turnips and food plot mixes, its a perfect secluded field for hunting. Dove, quail, deer, turkey, rabbit, fishing in the river, look at the pictures. All of this and its in Springfield Illinois This property is great deer and turkey hunting, but could be a great horse ranch or a winery or a tree farm, there is lots of potential with this place.
