I graduated from Mediapolis HS in 2013. Bullying has always been a problem that has been swept under the rug because if you have the right last name you are untouchable. My nieces & nephews have been enrolled since Pre-School & are now in 6th, 4th, 2nd grade. They are leaving the school district due to being severely bullied. Kids have picked on them for having a deceased father & having depression. The school was given plenty of opportunities to speak to the bullies & their parents however the bullying continues. They no longer feel safe at school and do not want to go back. Mediapolis should be taking this much more seriously & the bullies/parents should be held responsible for their actions. I would not recommend anyone without a well known name attend this school.

Me personally wasn't able to get the help I needed (504). I continued for it, and nothing happened but being told to drop out. So I did. I wasted nearly my entire high school trying to get help and figure out how to help myself better in the classroom. I've tried my best, and gave up. I'm not surprised they had got mad or something when I said I wouldn't attend a detention after trying to drop out. Not recommended, but you all might be different than I am. Good luck if it's tough for you, it will get better outside of school from the teachers that don't really help out.
