Was super thrilled to bring my children into this school. But that all changed about half way into the year. At first it was great. Staff was helpful, etc... Then when there was a growing concern when grades were slipping time and time again; which staff and I addressed many times before, things stopped. I was told that my child was not bad enough to get the extra help he needed even though the grades were significantly dropping and I received phone calls and emails time and again on the concern. I was also told that my child had to fend for himself. The staff had in the beginning recommended programs for help, but we are over income and can not get the help he needs for some of the programs. So, with the extensive help my child gets at home, I am at a lost for this school system. I thought it was no child left behind, but I was wrong! So if your child is having the same issues that my child has, please read this before enrolling into the school! Plus there is sever bullying in this school. Again no matter who you are our are not, whether your new to the area or not, whether you are rich or poor, bulling runs rampant in this town. It's pretty sad that there are a couple of kids that bully and have been bullying for a long time and they are still able to go to this school. Something needs to be done!
