"I think that dog owners would absolutely love living in this area. ait is quiet and the streets aren't busy. You will see the occasional deer walking around but, they are friendly or scared most of the time. "
  • Profit taker
"Location is central to everything . Little to many hill to be good for kids to trick or treat here . Good shopping close by too"
  • Anita P.
"There aren’t many families here with younger children. The neighborhood is mostly older families. My kids were not comfortable here and did not usually have other kids to play with "
  • Catherine.david34
"Very dog friendly area. Plenty of trails or city sidewalks. There’s hills all around if you and your dog like a challenge. Most places will allow dog owners to bring in their dogs including Walmart "
  • Monica
"What is not to love? Friendly neighbors, windy streets excellent for walking, quiet area with little car traffic, forest and bay views and great weather. We love it when a herd of deer amble through our backyard and when the squid fishermen light up the bay at night making a spectacular fluorescent view from the house. Only in Monterey!"
  • Judy C.
"There are very few sidewalks. Watch for cars when you are walking (and many walk dogs and children on this neighborhood) some drive too fast. "
  • Lauren P.
"There are no sidewalks for safe walking or riding bikes, dimly lit at night, but overall fantastic neighborhood"
  • Nancy
"Winding streets, pine and oak trees, more sunshine than most of the Peninsula, proximity to shopping, higher education, and downtown restaurants make this neighborhood pleasant to live in."
  • John S.
"Plenty of activities all year round, beautiful scenery, low crime"
  • Monica
"This is a great place to retire with lots of out door activities (golf, beaches, hiking, etc....), community draws (arts, aquarium, shopping, restaurants, etc....) and peaceful neighborhoods. The best part, of course, is the fantastic weather year round. "
