    "What a great community to raise a family. The recreation committee is very involved, a good pool and the schools are very hands on. Something very relaxing about the night air and sound of crickets and frogs instead of sirens and traffic. The community seems very involved in local business and there's great shopping and eats nearby. "

    "I grew up here, but we moved away for a few years and got to decide to move back. It was a great decision! Tonganoxie is a nice town with a lot of nice people in it. It's a great place to live and be able to commute to work - 20 minutes to Leavenworth, 15 minutes to Lawrence, 15 minutes to the edge of Kansas City and the Legends. 45 minutes to Topeka. It's a nice quiet town with access to all the things that you want in the city. "

    "I used to live in Tonganoxie. The police pull you over for nothing at all. The city hall sets a quota for how many tickets have to be issued each month. Very unfriendly town as for as neighbors go. They act as though they are in Johnson County instead of in the middle of nowhere. What few businesses there are, they are run down. There is a good doctor in town. "
