Horrible school and staff. My son and I had the worst experience here.

As a busy working parent, I understand that mornings are hectic for everyone. Like many families, I operate on a strict schedule to get my daughter to school and then commute to work on time. Unfortunately, the current drop-off process has made this increasingly difficult and unnecessarily stressful.For a period of time, I was required to park and walk my daughter 5–8 minutes from the parking lot to the front of the school each morning. While I will always ensure my child gets to class safely, this is a significant inconvenience for working parents. Not every parent has the physical ability to make that walk daily, particularly grandparents, disabled parents, or families with children who have mobility challenges. A school drop-off system should consider accessibility and convenience for all families.There was also a clearly marked drop-off zone in front of the school, including a designated walking area in the road where children could be safely dropped off. This system worked efficiently for the entire year. Then, without explanation, it was suddenly closed. I still see crossing guards stationed there, holding stop signs, yet the drop-off access is no longer permitted. The sudden change, without communication or reasoning, is confusing and frustrating.Additionally, there is now a very long line on the side of the school for drop-off. Even when I wait in that line and attempt to drop my daughter near the front of the building, where her classroom is located, I am stopped and told I must use a specific side entrance. This rigid enforcement, despite proximity and safety, feels unreasonable.I work all the way at the beach, and on multiple occasions, I have been late to work because of these drop-off complications. This situation feels unnecessarily inefficient and poorly managed.I sincerely hope the school administration reviews and regulates the morning drop-off process in a way that prioritizes safety, accessibility, and practicality for working families. A smoother, more thoughtful system would benefit everyone involved.
