Description

Self-contained, beautifully furnished unit on one side of a lovely 1930s house. A quiet children's book writer lives on the other side. Tenant has own entrance and patio. I designed the space for my mother so it has been created with care. COVID-19 UPDATE: I will only rent to people committed to their own health and that of their community. To that end, if you can't provide proof of vaccination, do not apply.
This short term (month to month) rental was designed for the many professionals who come to LB for work. Think of it as corporate housing with a comfortable touch. Unit has has full and well-stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, and elegant bedroom where you can curl up to sleep or watch TV. We designed the furnishing for comfort and utilty right down to the device charges by the bed.

Bixby Knolls is an established and charming neighborhood on the North end of Long Beach, close to the airport, multiple business headquarters, Whole Foods 365, and Trader Joe's. You can walk a block to the neighborhood park or drive a mile to Atlantic Avenue with its restaurants and shops .

The unit is available for flexible month to month renting with most common time periods being 3-6. Rent includes all utilities -- AC, heat, electric, water, and trash, as well as WiFi. I offer flexibility but with strict guidelines to keep my tenants safe. A deal breaker is not following state and community guidelines to prevent Covid transmission or having guests in the unit without securing an OK.

There are many tree lined streets in this tract, with charming old historic homes. There's nothing cookie cutter about this area. We have old spanish style, cottages and bungalows. The people here are friendly, and welcoming. Shops and restaurants are at walkable distances. The freeways are conveniently located without being too close to hear. The weather is perfect, being only 4.5 miles away from the ocean. This part of Long Beach is the perfect compromise between L.A. and Orange county. I absolutely love it!"
