This property is the historic Foyil, OK hotel built around 1900 located directly on Route 66 on Andy Payne Blvd in the town of Foyil, corner of 4th St & US Route 66 and less than 1 block north of the Historic Texaco Gas Station, which is currently listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This property is also eligible to be added to the National Register of Historic Places and for Historic Route 66 federal grants to assist in restoration costs. The 100 year celebration of Historic Route 66 is planned for the year 2026 so there is still time to purchase this property, complete the restoration, and participate in the celebration. This property is listed on the Route 66 website as well as the Route 66 Facebook page. The property could also be restored for a residential home or a business such as Air B&B, wedding venue, real estate office, boarding house, restaurant, etc. The square footage is 2136 and the home is currently gutted for the purpose of remodel & leveling. New wiring, HVAC, plumbing, flooring, & sheetrock are neded. The current owners plans were to construct a 2nd story deck overlooking the town & quiet park like setting of this property with mature trees. The staircase is original to the home. This property location is listed as eligible on the map for USDA loans as well as Cherokee Indian loans so financing may be possible through one of those programs.
