"This area is becoming increasingly more dangerous. There was just a murder in broad daylight . The window to the gym shot and shattered. "
  • Trulia User
"Area is very dog friendly, people walk their dogs often and pick up after them. Not far from the park for longer walks and room for larger dogs expel some energy."
  • Angela L.
"Just enjoy beautiful atmosphere and access to public transportation movie night friends and family time "
  • Abayomi O.
"Very, very safe. A great neighborhood to raise children. easily accessible to freeways and entertainment spot. the park is a stone throw from most houses. couple of elementary schools t o boot."
  • Kingrelly22
"Yes they would love to be hear park everywhere. Everyone walking and run there dog. Nice people and a good way to start conversation "

  • Charlene B.
" I’ve lived in this area over 7 years it’s gotten worse you can’t sit outside and there is always shootings"
  • Darlene T.
"The commute is pretty easy. The Martin luther king drive is very scenic and takes about fifteen minutes to get downtown. The expressway also takes about twenty minutes. Public transportation is also very accessible."
  • Bonni M.
"I’ve lived there for 5yrs and it is a convenient and friendly neighborhood. I would recommend this neighborhood for families with young children. There are multiple schools in the immediate area."
  • H.A.W.
"Lived here for 10 years. Can't beat the location....from here to CC/downtown takes 10 minutes, but you're also close to the Main Line/Delco suburban shopping. Most houses have a garage, most blocks are quiet and well-kept. Prices have been steadily climbing up (my house is worth double what I paid for it 10 years ago) and lots of new apartments are being built...I think the secret is out that Wynnefield is a pretty good neighborhood in a great location."
  • Jdingle1202
"I like the neighborhood. it's as quiet as it can be for West Philly. there's a produce junction, a good charter school. and it's nicer going toward city ave"
  • Kenya P.
"The neighborhood is very safe. The children play outside and are safe. There is a couple of parks and playgrounds in the neighborhood. Parents look out for all the kids when they are outside playing or riding they’re bikes."
  • Geneva S.
"The abundance of places to shop and grab food. Additionally, it is very close to Ardmore. This is a great place to live and commute from. "
  • Clarkhaskins719
"I drive daily, so my commutes are easy.. but when I used to take septa, my commutes were good 95% of the time when the G bus ran as scheduled. During the winter season, sometimes the G bus doesn’t come across the bridge and it makes for a difficult commute. "
  • Lucretia D. M.
"I actually grew up in this neighborhood as a child with my mother and father.i love it when I gave birth to my beautiful 2 children we moved to wynnefield as well. this time it didnt seem to good of a house after 6 months..."
  • W Berks
"I've lived in this area for awhile now. My main attraction to it is that it's out of the way, but not too far from the conveniences of living in a hood."
  • Womansjordan
