I can’t say enough good things about Flynn Elementary! The staff are caring and attentive and so good at engaging and building relationships with their students. The parent group is very active and puts on a lot of fun events for both the students and the community as a whole. It’s the center of the East Hill neighborhood and is a point of pride for anyone living nearby!

Memorial truly prepared me academically. Couldn't have asked for a better education, and in that regard it definitely deserves 10/10. I've had university classes easier than classes I took here. I would feel very comfortable sending my child here. The main downside is the cliques, and the difficulty I've seen new students have trying to make friends. Many people in Eau Claire have lived here for generations and though it's a large town, everyone still manages to know everyone--especially because the south side (54701) and the north side (54703) are virtually different towns completely. There's also a slight drug problem and some people complain of a lack of friendliness. Move here when your kids are young and get them involved in activities and you should be fine.

I really like this school, although sometimes things get congested in the hallways, and there is plenty of violence even if it is just play fighting.
