My kids have experienced bullying. The bigest issue is that the school fails, miserably, to admit there is a bully problem. Especially if the bullirs are related to staff! The other issue is that the school waited until February to say that the kids would be retained in their current grade levels. There is tutoring available to HS & JH, but there was nothing in place for elementary. Had the school had tutoring in place or even mentioned there was an issue ealier in the academiy year, we might have had a chance to work on this in a much better manner instead of deciding 2 1/2 months from the end of the year. This issue also screams retaliation on the stidents for me going to both the school board and the superintendant. Very suspicious, if you ask me, especially in light of the bully kids who are kids of teachers, never get in any trouble even if the IT dude catches bully type emails from those kids to their victims! Now the issue has expanded to the whole school, not just elementary as the principal is now heading the whole school as the over all principal! There should have been tutoring in place (look at this school scores on state tests and that, in itself screams that there is an academic need that is not being addressed!

"We have craft, art, and music shows.....usually free to the public. Loggers Day, Farmer’s Market, softball games for everyone who wants to play, Gem and Mineral Show, Car shows, Live Music outdoors. Rafting, hiking, fishing, skiing, cross country skiing, hunting, gold panning, 4WD and ATV trails all over the mountains around this area."

"This is my second summer to stay in this neighborhood in an RV park. It’s a great community....growing and friendly and so much diversity to offer.....wonderful outdoor and nature adventures. It’s beautiful here and the only reason I wouldn’t walk alone at night is because of wildlife....not people."
