2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe must disappointed I have been with a school. The principal is so rude and only cares about the number of students not care about their staff. The students curse out the staff and the principal does not care. Very very disappointed. If the principal is reading this if you quit it will make many happy :) you deserve no respect you should be fired.Other Review3y ago5 Reviews - Clay Intermediate Center

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageA terrible school for even worse people. The experience is absolutely horrendous. I'm currently in 7th grade at the moment and this school is trash. Especially the older students'(7th-8th grade) behavior and bullying problems. To go more in depth, I have a bff who's transgender( go search up this term if you're unaware of it) and he's constantly getting bullied about it. The spinless teachers do absolutely nothing about this however, as they just let him get bullied and say nothing. This school is supposed to be supportive and protective of LGBT students and yet with me and my bff's experiences thus far, the students and teachers don't care for queer people. Another thing, since the teachers don't do anything about my friend's bullying, he is always unfairly in trouble and when I try to step in and help, they won't let me. They also called me and him a ton of offensive slurs and mean words that are but not limited to:Student Review3y ago14 Reviews - Darden Primary Center

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt is an amazing school, however anything above 4th grade, I have had to resort to home schooling due to bully issues and the SBCSC or the schools inability to correct issues, I have a older daughter that attended darden primary as well and she excelled very well there, my hat goes off to you, and I hope other schools will use your school to set a standard to follow!Parent Review8y ago8 Reviews - Adams High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBoth of my daughters have attended Swanson. My youngest attended for first grade, and my oldest attended for 1st, 2nd, and 4th. The teachers are wonderful. They care about the students and push them to excel! The climate at the school is very welcoming. You can tell the leadership is good by the way the staff interacts, and this school's leadership is great! The principal (Mrs. Amy Troyer) is very present in the day-to-day. She led the school to National Blue Ribbon status for the 2021 school year, and that is no easy feat coming out of a pandemic! The teachers are so dedicated and caring! My daughter's teacher even came to her going away party. We love Swanson and have been proud to be a part of such a caring and supportive school community!Parent Review3y ago3 Reviews - Jefferson Traditional School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI, as a former LaSalle Academy student, have undergone the hard work and restless nights myself. Every year they exposed you to new, never before seen material. Students have a tendency to complain about the teachers, in all reality those teachers just weren't the type to let you mess around the whole class. Few people know the stress that any teacher or faculty member of a school undergoes, and let me tell you all the teachers handle very well. Fifth grade with Mr. Marosz and Mrs. Lotridge was a blast, learning and having fun couldn't have been better. They made one awesome team. Sixth grade with Mrs. Neighbor and Mrs. Brandt were magnificent, I even learned how to knit. Band was always a blast, pushing you to your full potential. Mr. Bennett, Mrs. Amato, Mrs. Nalepinski, and Mrs. Albright all were beyond amazing for seventh grade. They really pushed me and helped me learn! Eighth grade has to be the greatest year I had. We won the blue ribbon award, I gave a speech, I was taught how to write research papers. Mr. Eller I have to say is one of the greatest teachers ANYONE will ever encounter, along with Mrs. Sipes, Mrs. Martinez, Mrs. Baumgartner, and Mr. Chan. -Lion Pride(:Other Review12y ago4 Reviews - Rise Up Academy At Eggleston

"Lots of kids of all ages. There is a park and a library within walking distance as well as the granger bike path so there is lots to do just a few minutes away. People are friendly and there are annual activities like a Fourth of July bike parade and an Easter egg hunt. I grew up here and I am happy that I did. "

"We are in one of the few subdivisions that have sidewalks, which I prefer when walking my dog. Too often there is a person speeding while talking on a cell phone and the sidewalks give me an extra sense of security."
