"I was born here and knit the neighborhood very well. It's very small and easy to get around, I stay to myself and I'm laid-back "
  • Trulia User
"The tutors that come out and help the kids that can’t understand there work although it’s a pandemic "
  • Morganwashington
"I love my community I feel safe most of the time I think they should put more things in out community for the kids "
  • Wendy Wilson
"I lived on the Northside for over 10 yrs. I walked everywhere I went and never had a problem. Most of my neighbors were very friendly."
  • Dnichols6853
"Most areas on the north side are high crime areas drugs being sold and even shootouts sometimes! Police patrol the areas yet there no help either they’re too late to always be patrolling or when they are present they treat everyone like criminals! I wouldn’t recommend moving on the north side if you don’t know people in the area"
  • Chantelle P.
"ive lived in this neighborhood for 3 years and most people are friendly. Unfortunately the street I live on isn't very safe due to speeding traffic all hours of the day. "
  • Adrian J.
"We live here. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Lots of parks and festivals. You can walk to the bus or train and all business are resonably priced. Low propetty taxes as well which is hard to find in a downtown urban friendly neighborhood. You can buy a house for way less than it's actual which is the greatest investement you will ever make. Rebuilding and Revitalization is goin on daily. Don't for get you kids will get free college with the Kalamazoo Promise! This is where you want to live!"
