Description

The middle bedrooms are mirror images of one another, both having large closets with pull-out storage drawers. The 4th bedroom is very unique in that there is plenty of space for a bed, dresser, desk, seating, etc. A walk-through closet leads to a small room above the garage perfect for storage or a playroom. Crown and chair rail moulding complete the space. The hall bath has a tub/shower, porcelain tile flooring, glass tile back splash, a white subway tile shower and KraftMaid vanity. On the lower level is a finished space perfect for a secondary family room, craft room, home gym, office, etc. It has been freshly painted with new carpet, recessed lighting and built in cabinetry. The unfinished portion of the basement has recently been painted and drylocked, both windows sealed and houses the gas furnace, water heater, electrical panel, PEX manifold and steps to the outside via a bilco door. The garage and laundry room have also been refreshed this year with paint on all surfaces. The 2 car side entry garage has space for a workbench and storage by the man door. The garage leads directly into the kitchen for easy unloading. The home sits perfectly on the .99 acre lot. Trees line the perimeter of the yard with a stunning Copper Beech sitting at the top of the slope. The rear yard is completely fenced with wood split rail perfect for pups. Behind the home is the 12th green of the Berkshire Country Club golf course and a fantastic view! The right side patio is very charming and leads directly into the kitchen. A vinyl shed in the right rear corner is perfect for the tractor and garden tools. This home is in a great location close to Routes 12 and 222 right off 183 in Bern Twp. The neighborhood is so unique in that every home looks different, there is access to the Grings Mill walking trail and it's one of the best locations in Berks County!

The area has great parks, and it’s perfect for kids, casual walks, and bike rides around town. Like anywhere, you may occasionally see people trying to break into cars, but it’s sporadic rather than constant, and most of the time the neighborhood feels peaceful. A lot of the neighbors are friendly and easy to get along with, though, like anywhere, there are a few difficult people mixed in.     "There are a lot of people that walk their dogs in this area and most people are animal friendly, but you do have some people that put up signs to keep off lawn. The reason I believe this happens is because you do have some people, very few, that will walk their dogs at night and not clean up. As a dog owner, I always clean up after my dog and I get very annoyed when I am walking and I see that someone didn’t clean up after their dog. "

Outside smoking weed and using profanity all the time. Gets worse during the summer time. I cannot let my kids outside to ply because there is no respect for them as children."
