"Living on Grant Street for 30 years, I am convinced this location is one of the best in Hinsdale. Grant Street is just 5 short blocks to the Train to Chicago, 2 blocks to Blue Ribbon Award Winning Elementary Madison School, 5 blocks to the Hinsdale Middle School, and just 3 blocks north of Hinsdale Central High School, one of the best high schools in the state of Illinois! Robbins Park is just one block from Grant Street where all the kids play Soccer, T-Ball , Flag Football and Lacrosse! There is also a wonderful play area for toddlers to enjoy! Grant Street is 5 blocks to the Hinsdale Pool where you can learn to swim, be a member of the Swim Team and cool off all summer. We are just 5 blocks to town for shopping, restaurants and a world class library. Every year the 4th of July Parade comes right down Grant Street and last year we had as our Parade Marshall, Joel Quenneville coach of the Stanley Cup Champion, Chicago Blackhawks, who also lives in Hinsdale. If you are looking for a family friendly neighborhood and great amenities you will pay more for home in those communities. You get what you pay for in this safe and secure area for kids! Hinsdale has everything you could want for your kids...education excellence, safety, parks and year round recreation, churches, and transportation ease to Chicago! Enjoy Hinsdale....buy a home here ...you will never regret your decision. We never want to leave...now our grandkids come to enjoy all that we have loved with our own kids! Thanks for letting me brag about my town."
  • Christine M.
