6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a former student. The students are divided by floor and grades. You have 02’s and 03’s along with special education on the third floor while 01’s and 21’s are on the 2nd floor. Example 601, 701, and 801 this are kids who were rankled smarter than the rest of the students. 602, 702, and 802 are students who were ranked in the in between. 603, 703, and 803 are students who were considered “challenged”. 621, 721, and 821 are bilingual students then there is special education. The student on the second floor(01’s and 21’s) receive way better treatment than the ones on the third floor(02’s and 03’s). they are given better opportunities they do more activities go on better trips(travel)and actually get to enjoy their middle school experience. While the students on the third floor are looked down on and treated as if they are not smart enough. They get trips to go see broadway shows once in a while and get to go on the senior trip if they are one. They schools does the bare minimum to prevent and help with bullying. They were fights almost everyday when I was a student. Staff members will literally instigate and fuel problems between students. Teachers will embarrass students by discussing their personal problems from home with other teacher or usually in-front of the entire class as a way to show some type of dominance. Students who are in danger of being attacked or jumped by other students will usually get in trouble instead of being protected. Worst middle school experience ever.Other Review3y ago4 Reviews - Academy For Language And Technology

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLe escuela es super buena, nunca hay problemas de gangas ni nada de eso. La verdad es que si, son muy estrictos pero eso es por el bien de los estudiantes.Parent Review4y ago6 Reviews - Check out schools near 1685 Davidson Ave.

"People never clean up after their dogs. A lot of them don’t even groom or take their dogs to the vet, so you have to be careful with YOUR dog when you take them outside because dogs love sniffing other dogs pee n poo and they can catch illness like that. Also, who wants to be have to walk with their head down bc they’re afraid to step in dog poo? "

"I don’t go or follow any events in this neighborhood. I don’t feel the streets are lighted enough, and hardly no police presence. My building is very clean and taken care of. However, I don’t go outside at night by myself."

"You see people walking their dogs a lot in the mornings and afternoon which is nice to see. However, theres always a lot of trash, glass, etc. which can worry any dog owner because you dont want them to step on any of these items on the ground. "

"There are sometimes health events health by Morris heights health center, emblem health and others down burnside ave, they close down the ave and buses are rerouted, the event usually gives out information about resources in the community while providing some fun activities for kids like bouncy houses. "This is NOT the best place to raise children.... But it’s not the worst. Although I would not want my child hanging out with some of the inhabitants of this neighborhood, I do not feel terrified for his safety when he walks out of the house. There are far worse places to raise children. "

"Morris Heights is a horrible place to live in from my perspective because people don't pick up after their dogs. When they poop which is disgusting. Also people get into fights such as people who are on drugs. A lot of people smoke which bring a horrible smell when you wake up. I plan to move using trulia because this place is not the right place for me. "
