"We have been here since 1972… Not even the same place. It used to be a very small town where everybody knew everybody, now nobody talks to each other because they’re all new. There is so much more traffic going up and down our street that neighbors are moving out because the new neighborhoods are using this little area for a cut through. We don’t even have street lights! Every neighbor out here had to pay for the pavement that is running up and down our street… We are county Island, not City, therefore, the city pays for nothing, and the roads are being all torn up with speeders, who have no concern for our neighborhood."
