6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is one of the worst schools in Puyallup School District. They are discriminatory, racist, and do not provide the necessary supports for there students. This includes students with disabilities and students of ethnic background. The students are targeted by the teachers. For example, my student was held back after school and her only way of transportstion is the school bus home. They new she was a bus rider. She has rode the bus for all 3 years and all her time in Puyallup School District. She was still held and I had to pick up from school. I glad that I was able to leave to go pick her up. She was held so the teacher could talk to her. She was not in trouble and never have been a behavior issue in school. School is supposed to be a safe place for every student. School is supposed to be the union between parents and students. It should not be punitive. Emeraldridge school culture is punitive though. I do not recommend sending your children here. They lack diversity and cultural sensitivitiy as well. This is the short version. There is way more incidents to tell but not enough space or time on an online platform. I gove them a 2/10. That 2 is for the very few teachers that care.Other Review4mo ago10 Reviews - G W Edgerton Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe’ve had an exceptional experience at this school from day one. The teachers — from music and art to the core classroom educators — have been consistently supportive, caring, and invested in student success. Many hold master’s degrees and board certifications, exceeding what’s typical in nearby districts, which speaks volumes about their dedication and expertise. The administration and PTA do an excellent job communicating about events and opportunities, and parent involvement was obvious right from “Back to School Night.” You really feel welcomed as part of a team working together for the kids.If you’re reading reviews because you want your children to have a great school experience, my advice is: get involved. A strong partnership between families and schools benefits everyone. Research shows kids who thrive — both in school and in life — have parents who are present and engaged in their sports, studies, and daily growth. This is not just a great school; it’s a great community. We feel lucky to be part of it.Parent Review8mo ago11 Reviews - Glacier View Junior High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son entered GV in 9th grade. Any time we reach out to a school counselor or teacher we have had our emails returned promptly and respectfully. My son uses SPed services and the staff are excellent and practical with accommodations and recommendations for our son’s course load. We have had zero complaints about GV. Our experience has been fantastic.Parent Review1y ago14 Reviews - Check out schools near 16725 140th Ave E.

"South hill is a very pleasant area to raise your family but the closer you are to downtown the worse it is. It is better to be up on the hill and the closer you are to Graham the better. "
